  1. Enter your Smart Materials user name and password in the respective fields.

  2. Select a language of your choice from the Language list.

    The operating system language of the computer is set as the default language.

  3. Click Login.

Your logon attempt might fail due to the following reasons:

  • Account is locked.

  • Invalid user name or password.

  • Expired password.

  • Access is not granted to any of the projects.

If a logon attempt fails, an error message is displayed on a ribbon that appears at the top of the application window. See View and manage notifications in the ribbon for more details.

The Single Sign-on feature uses the Microsoft windows operating system username to directly log on to Smart Materials.

Forgot your password

  1. Click Forgot your password? to open the Request Password box.

  2. Type your user name or your email address.

  3. Click Request Password to submit the password request. The software emails your login information.

    Why don't I receive the email with the OTP?

    If you have not received an email after requesting a new password, it might be caused by any of the following:

    • The entered user is not known/registered

    • The entered email not known/registered

    • The entered user has no email address assigned

    • Multiple users share the same email address

    • Email distribution does not work in your network

    • Spam filter sorted the email out
