Before you can build the assembly idents on S.50.06, you must define the structure of the assemblies on the S.70.01 Assembly Structure screen.
It is recommended to attach only one child item to the assembly master at a time
and then generate the assembly idents. This process makes it easier to find the reason
if the assembly is not properly generated.
In the first (Assemblies) block, select the assembly short code from the LOV in the Short Code field. This short code is sufficient to identify the assembly master. The short code description is displayed in the Short Desc field. Enter 1 in the Option field. To define the size range of the assembly, enter the minimum size in the From I1 field and the maximum size in the To I1 field.
In the lower block, you can assign the assembly child items either on the Single Assembly Position tab or on the Multi Assembly Position tab. The following pictures display only the single positions.
