On the Other Costs tab of the P.30.21 Prepare RFQ screen, you can view the default other costs that were attached automatically when the inquiry was created. You can update or delete these other costs and attach additional other costs to the inquiry. Moreover, you can enter a cost value and a currency and determine whether the other cost is to be an evaluation cost or not.
To assign an other cost to the inquiry, select a value from the LOV in the Other Cost field. Instead of using pre-defined other costs, you can enter a new other cost value in this field. When leaving the field or saving the record, you see a message that you have entered an unknown other cost and if you would like to continue. If you click Yes and if you have write access for P.10.33, the new other cost is also saved on the P.10.33 Other Costs screen. You can double-click in this field to open the P.10.33 Other Costs screen.
You can assign an account code to the other cost by selecting a value from the LOV in the Account Code field if the project default ZJ_USE_AC is set to N, which means you are not using the Account Code module of Smart Materials. You can double-click in the field to open the A.10.30 Account Codes screen where account codes are defined.
The Account Code field is only available if you are not working with the Account Code module; that
is, the project default ZJ_USE_AC is set to N.
Select the Eval Cost indicator if you want to mark this other cost as an evaluation cost.
The value of the selected other cost can be entered in the Cost Value Total field, with the currency in the Currency field. The default value of the currency is given by the value set for project default ZX_CURCY.
The descriptions of the other cost are displayed in the Short Desc and Description fields.
