With a Verification and Status job, you can assign the List Status to bill of materials positions within BOMs, instead of doing this manually. Processing takes into account all positions below the selected node. The List Status is always assigned in ascending order for a given issue status.

  1. Open B.20.01 Edit BOM.

  2. Select the BOM node that marks the start of the verification and status assignment operation.

  3. Click Verification and Status .

Screen B.20.01.35 Verification and Status opens.

You can either select an existing list job or define a new one. Because List Job management is user-specific; you can only edit your own jobs, that is, the jobs you have created. The quickest way to set up a new job is to copy a Master Job and then re-adjust the processing parameters. To create a Master Job, proceed with the next steps.

  4. Type the job name in the Name field.

  5. Optionally, type the job description in the Short Desc and Description fields.

  6. Select the Master check box.

  7. Select a list status from the LOV in the List Status field.

  8. Select Best Qty, or select Specified and select an issue status.

  9. Optionally, select a where condition from the LOV in the Where Condition field. A where condition can be used to restrict the assignment.

  10. In the List Job Checks block, define the list checks which should be applied by the job as follows:

    1. Type a sequence number in the Order Seq field.

    2. Select the list check from the LOV in the List Check field.

    3. Select the Include check box to include this check in the job.

  11. Click Save to save the Master Job.

A Master Job cannot be initiated for processing.

  12. To create a normal List job from the Master job, click Duplicate Job.

  13. To run the job, click Start.
