For the logistics screens P.70.61 Logistics Overview and P.70.62 Logistics Details, the display sequence and labels for the fields can be configured per project and user. Moreover, you can determine the display length of the fields and for some columns whether they should appear in the non-scrollable or in the scrollable area of the screen.

The logistics screens can be configured on the P.10.74 Configure Logistics Screens screen.

When this screen is called, the configuration of the user currently logged in is queried automatically. But you can also query for any other user.

You can use the Copy Configuration button to open window 2 where you can enter criteria to copy a configuration from another project/user.

Select the source project from the LOV in the From Project field, and the source user from the LOV in the From User field. Then select the destination user from the LOV in the To User field. Select the screen option from the drop-down list in the Screen field. The available values are:

  • P.70.61 - configuration of P.70.61 to be copied

  • P.70.62 - configuration of P.70.62 to be copied

  • Both Screens - configuration of both screens to be copied

Click Start to start the copy process, or click Cancel to abort.

Instead of copying an existing configuration, you can define a configuration manually for the selected user on P.10.74. Enter a unique sequence number in the Seq field. The fields will be displayed ordered by the sequence entered here.

In the Field field, select a field to be added to the configuration from the LOV. In the Prompt field, the original label of the selected field is automatically displayed. You can modify this prompt if you like.

If you select a field starting with ATTRIBUTE_, an attribute assigned to an order (in case of P.70.61) and to an item shipment (in case of P.70.62) is to be displayed. In this case, you must select this attribute from the LOV in the Name field. All attributes defined on the A.50.01 Attributes are available for selection. You can only enter an attribute in this field for fields starting with ATTRIBUTE_.

If you select a field starting with CIP_FIELD_, you must select a CIP from the LOV in the CIP Name field. Read the description of this field below for more details.

Enter the number of digits to be displayed in the Form Width field.

  • If the total number of digits for all fields to be shown in the scrollable or non-scrollable area is too large, one of the following messages will appear when opening the logistics screens:

"FRM-41081: Cannot move Item: invalid position."

"FRM-41082: Cannot resize item: position of item places it off canvas."

In this case, you either must reduce the number of displayed fields or reduce the form width.

  • If the scrollable area does not appear when calling the logistics screens, the total width of all fields of the non-scrollable area is too large. You either must move one or more of these fields to the scrollable area or reduce the form width.

The Order Level indicator shows whether the attribute is order related or shipment group related. Depending on the setting of this check box, attribute values are either stored on the order level or on the shipment group level on P.70.61 Logistics Overview. If a shipment group does not exist and an attribute has been marked as shipment group related, the attribute value will be stored on the order level. You can only set this indicator for fields starting with ATTRIBUTE_.

Enter the name of the CIP to be executed in the CIP Name field. You can only enter a CIP if a field starting with CIP_FIELD_ was selected. Generally, all functions that were defined in package M_PCK_LOGISTIC_CUSTOM are available. In addition, these functions must have two arguments that must be of type NUMBER. The first argument has to be the primary key of table m_po_headers, that is, poh_id; the second argument must be the primary key of table m_shipment_groups, that is, sg_id.

Select the Scroll Area check box if the field should appear in the scrollable area of the screen. This feature is only available for a limited number of fields. In general, all fields that can be configured will appear in the scrollable area of the screens. But for the following fields you can determine whether they should be shown in the non-scrollable area instead.

P.70.61 Logistics Overview

  • Order Number

  • Suppl

  • Description

  • Shipment Group

  • Supplier Name

  • Manufacturing Company

  • PO Actual

  • Carrier Name

  • Attribute 1

P.70.62 Logistics Details

  • Order Number

  • Suppl

  • Shipment Group

  • Supplier Name

  • Manufacturing Company

  • Pos

  • Sub

  • ISH Pos

  • ISH Sub

  • Commodity Code

  • Ident Code

  • Tag Number

  • Attribute 1

  • If no configuration is defined here for a user, all available fields except for attributes and CIP fields will be displayed on the screens mentioned above.

  • The Order Number field will always be displayed even if you fail to configure it here. If not configured, it will be shown in the non-scrollable area.

  • If you include the Delivery Designation field but not the Routing Method field for P.70.61, the routing method will be displayed automatically. The reason for this behavior is the dependence of these two fields. Changing the delivery designation implies a change of the routing method at the same time.

  • The sequence in which fields are activated when using the Tab key in the affected screens may be somewhat confusing because of the fact that you can also define the display order here.
