Material that is received on site and booked into the inventory is stored at a location in a warehouse. For easy identification, a location should be related to a real physical material storage location.

Open the C.10.01 Site Locations screen.

Type the name of a location in the Location box.

Type the location description in the Short Desc and Description boxes.

Click Save.

Open the C.10.02 Warehouses screen.

Type the name of the warehouse in the Warehouse box.

Type the warehouse description in the Short Desc and Description boxes.

To specify a nested plate warehouse, select the Nested Plate Warehouse check box.

When Nested Plate Warehouse is selected, the company cannot be set, and none of the other check boxes can be selected.

Only with a direct MRR with receive type Plate, you can receive plate material into a nested plate warehouse on C.20.03.

Only steel plates can be transferred into a nested plate warehouse on C.20.15.

Define another warehouse where the plates can be received.

Click Save.

Open the C.10.03 Warehouse to User screen.

Select a user.

In the second (Warehouses to Users) block, type a number in the Seq box.

Select the plate warehouse from the list in the Warehouse box.

Do the same for the nested plate warehouse.

Click Save.
