The Variation Rates tab is used to prepare the maintenance of price changes later on in the inquiry and purchasing cycle. This tab is available for all requisition types.
Select the name (code) of the rate type from the LOV in the Rate Type field. The list of values contains all rate types of rate groups 'Materials' and 'Other'. You can enter a new rate type in this field; it will not be added to the list of rate types on P.10.39. Double-click in the Rate Type field to open the P.10.39 Rate Types screen. The language dependent descriptions of the rate type are displayed in the Short Desc and Description fields.
