Material/work groups can be assigned to an inquiry on the Material/Work Groups tab.
All material/work groups assigned to the inquiry are considered when you assign bidders to the inquiry later on. The list of available bidders will be restricted to suppliers/ subcontractors with any of the selected material/work groups assigned. When you insert the first material/work group on this tab, this group is copied over on the inquiry header level and displayed also on the Inquiry tab.
The assigned material/work groups are displayed with the material/work group type in the Matl Group Type field, the material/work group name in the Matl/Work Group field, the material/work group revision in the Rev field, and the material/work group descriptions in the Short Desc and Description fields. You can double-click in the Matl Group Type and Matl/Work Group fields to open the P.10.42 Material/Work Groups screen where types and groups are defined.
