Labor rates for subcontracts can be specified on the Labor Rates tab.

Select the rate type from the LOV in the Rate Type field. The LOV provides all the rate types of rate group 'Labor'. If you manually enter a new rate type, it will not be added to the pre-defined list of rate types on P.10.39. You can double-click in this field to open the P.10.39 Rate Types screen where labor rates are defined.

The rate type descriptions are displayed in the Short Desc and Description fields.

Enter the value of this rate type in the Rate Value field. Select the unit of the rate value from the drop-down list in the Rate Unit field. The available values are:

  • Hour

  • Day

  • Week

In the General and Administrative % field, you can enter the percentage of the labor rate applied to the general and administrative expenses.

In the Overhead and Profit % field, you can enter the percentage of the labor rate applied to the overhead and profit expenses without fringe benefits.
