Commercial evaluation checklist items are defined and used to evaluate the commercial bids from the suppliers. You can assign commercial evaluation checklists to inquiries on the Comm. Eval. Checklists tab of P.30.21 Prepare RFQ.

The commercial evaluation checklists are maintained on the P.10.41 Comm Eval Cklsts screen.

To define a commercial evaluation checklist item, enter a unique sequential number in the Seq field and the item descriptions in the Short Desc and Description fields. The revision is set to 0 (zero) in the Rev field when creating a new item. To link the checklist item with a document, enter the document name in the File Name field. Select the Default indicator if this checklist item shall be copied automatically as the default to the inquiry commercial evaluation checklist when creating the inquiry.

To create a revision of the selected checklist item, click the Revision button. The software will create a copy of the selected item with the revision increased by 1 (one). The button is only enabled when you select the highest available revision of a checklist item.

Click the Open button to open the document that is linked to the checklist item in the File Name field. As a prerequisite for opening documents from this screen, the project default ZI_WEB_CEC must be set. For more information see ZI_WEB_CEC.

On the CEC Sets tab, you can combine several commercial evaluation checklists (CECs) into a set.

To define a set, enter the set name in the CEC Set field and the set descriptions in the Short Desc and Description fields. The revision is automatically set to 0 (zero) in the Rev field. You can create a new revision for the highest available revision of the selected set using the Revision button on the right of the first block.

In the second (CEC Set Details) block, you assign the pre-defined checklist items to the selected set, using the LOV in the Seq field. Window 3 opens where you can pick the checklist items.

Select the Sel check box of all items to be added to the set and click the Fill In button to close the window and copy the selected items. You can use the Select All button to mark all items in one step. Click the Unselect All button to cancel the selection.

On the CEC Sets tab, click the Open button to open the document that is linked to the checklist detail in the File Name field.
