On the CIP Execution tab, you can see which CIPs have been executed for the selected requisition. Further, you can run additional CIPs for the selected requisition from this tab. Two different kinds of CIPs are available to be executed:

  • standard CIPs already available for MTO jobs on R.20.01

  • self-defined CIPs.

These self-defined CIPs must be created in the package m_pck_req_custom as functions, not procedures. The functions must have exactly one input parameter, and it must be the primary key of table m_reqs, r_id.

In the first (Executed Standard CIPs) block of this tab, you can see which standard CIPs of R.20.01 have already been executed for the current requisition during the MTO job or manually. A selected check box indicates that the corresponding CIP was executed.

In the second (Additional CIPs to execute) block, you can select additional standard CIPs and/or self-defined CIPs to be executed for the current requisition. Select a standard CIP by marking the appropriate check box. If a standard CIP is selected although it has already been executed, it will not be executed a second time. To select a self-defined CIP, enter a sequence number in the Seq field, select the CIP from the LOV in the CIP Code field, and select the Exec check box. All self-defined CIPs having the Exec indicator selected will be executed in the sequence defined in the Seq field. The date when the CIP is executed will be stored in the Execution Date field.

To run the selected CIPs, click the Execute CIP(s) button.

For more information about CIPs, see CIP Execution Options.

Standard CIPs will only run if they were not yet executed. All other CIPs will be executed if they have the Exec check box ticked, regardless of whether they have already been executed or not.
