Use this feature to change (translate) the name (item label) of menu items defined on A.30.01 Menus.

Regarding flexibility, you are free to define several customer menus. Customer menus are generic names for a set of customer menu names, and these are the translated item labels.

To activate a customer menu and thus the item label translations, assign the customer menu name to the project default ZX_CU_MENU on A.20.12 Project Defaults. You can use the LOV in the Value field to select a name from the list.

In the first (Customer Menu) block, enter the name in the Customer Menu field and a description in the Comments field, and then save the record.

In the second (Customer Menu Names) block, assign the menu items to be translated. Select the menu item from the LOV in the Menu Item field; the Menu Type and Item Label fields will automatically be populated. Enter the translated item label in the Customer Menu Name field and save the record.

After assigning the customer menu to the ZX_CU_MENU project default, the labels defined in the Customer Menu Name fields will be used as screen titles instead of the standard item labels.
