Country codes are a list of all countries, states, and provinces from which materials may be purchased, or in which a subcontractor can reside.

A country code consists of the country's three character international code and the country's proper name as a description. The country's currency code must also be assigned. The currency code relates to the currency conversion information found in the pricing group of the unit conversion function.

Use the A.10.34 Countries/States/Provinces screen to maintain country codes and their respective currency codes.

The two-letter (alpha-2) and three-letter (alpha-3) country codes are defined in ISO 3166-1, to represent countries, dependent territories, and special areas of geographical interest. The country dial code can be entered in the Country Dial Code field. The country description is entered in the Short Desc and Description fields. The country currency is pre-defined on A.10.12 Units of Measure and assigned to the country in the Unit Code field. If you are selecting the Federal Id Mandatory check box, a unique federal ID must be entered for this country on the A.10.23 Companies screen, P.20.02 Login Requests screen, and in the Portal on the Company page during the registration. Clear the Portal check box if this country should not be available in the Portal. The Enforce national holidays indicator can be used to move holidays that fall on a Saturday or Sunday to the prior Friday or following Monday.

The second (State Provs) block is used to maintain the states/provinces of the selected country. The state/province code is entered in the State Province Code field, and the descriptions in the Short Desc and Description fields.
