The licensing administrator can specify a password for the configuration, which is loaded onto a client using a configuration connection info (.cci) file. Anyone with the password can use the configuration connection info (.cci) file.
Specifying a password is optional, but if the licensing administrator sets up a password on the configuration, users will need to know the password to load and authenticate the configuration connection info (.cci) file and use it to get a license.
Keystores, which are part of configurations, can also be restricted to specific domains.
