  • To support privacy by design, which is a key concept as it relates to applicable data privacy laws, all data, including any personal data, is encrypted at the source (Smart Licensing Client) and always remains encrypted.

  • If you require access to the data, including any personal data in an unencrypted format, an approval form must be executed by a duly authorized representative on your behalf. This approval form can be found at this link: Access Form

After we receive this form, Hexagon can enable the specific Smart Licensing administrator(s) denoted on the approval form to see the customer’s data, including any personal data, unencrypted in the Smart License Portal for licenses that are currently in use and for any reports that are run for historical usage by your license administrator.

  • Only Hexagon can enable or disable the viewing of your licensing data in an unencrypted format.

  • You are responsible for informing Hexagon of any changes to your license administrator role, including whether the license administrator may have, and continue to have, access to the customer’s data in an unencrypted format.

  • To the extent that Hexagon processes personal data, such personal data will be processed according to Hexagon's privacy policy, which may be found at https://hexagon.com/privacy-policy.
