  • Yes, Smart Licensing supports the offline use of any Hexagon software product that is managed by Smart Licensing and has been made available for checkout by Hexagon. Your license administrator controls the checkout of such licenses, what licenses of the Hexagon software products in the applicable KeyStore can be checked-out for offline use, and for how long such licenses may be checked out.

  • When a license of a Hexagon software product that carries a Concurrent Standard ("CS") license type is checked out, the system pulls two licenses of the applicable product, as Hexagon assumes 24/7 usage whilst such license is checked out.

  • When a checked-out CS license is checked in, one of the two CS licenses is immediately available for use. The second CS license remains unavailable for twelve (12) hours from the time of check-in.

  • Where a CS license is checked out for twelve (12) hours or less, and the CS license being checked out has an amount of time left on it for use which is equal to or greater than the amount of time the CS license is being checked out for, then only one (1) CS license is pulled.
