After you view comparison results, you can save those results to a log file. The log file contains a comparison of the POD and pipeline attributes in the two files and a summary of the data in each pipeline. This summary includes run and end point counts, counts of each component type, centerline lengths for each run, and a count of the number of components that are new, deleted, or changed.

In the POD Comparison window, select Write Report to display the Write Report File To Dialog.

Navigate to the folder location, and then type a name for the log file in the File name box.

Select Save.
The software saves the summary data as a text file that you can open and view in a standard text editor.

Select OK to close the POD Comparison window.
