The pipe connecting the 2D skew is uni-directional, meaning direction is shown in one plane only. The two end points, which define the skew length, share one common coordinate, for example, the Easting coordinate.
If you are currently in normal routing mode, you must click once in the Detail window to place the end point of the last section of orthogonal pipe before beginning
to route the 2D skew.

Select Route 2D Skew
on the Place toolbar. You can also select Place > Route 2D Skew .

Click once In the Detail window to place a start point.

Click some distance away from the first point, but in the same direction, to place an intermediate point.

Click again in the grid some distance away from the intermediate point, but in a different direction in the same plane, to place the end point.
The software places the 2D skew and its associated skew components.

The intermediate and end points define the first and second skew components, respectively.
