In the tree view, select a rule.

Do one of the following:

Click Edit > Properties.

Click

Right-click and on the shortcut menu, click Properties.

On the General tab of the Rule Properties dialog box, select Disable Rule.

Click OK.

Click Save
on the main toolbar to write the changes to the rule base.

After you disable the rule, if the user violates the rule consistency criteria in Smart Instrumentation, the software does not apply any actions that you specified for the logical expressions.

You can disable all the rules you have created in Rule Manager from the Domain Administration options on the Domain Definition dialog box.
