Execute a SQL Command - Intergraph Smart Instrumentation - Help

On the menu bar, select File > Database Type Test and Query.

Do one of the following:

• Define connection parameters for the Admin schema by selecting Actions > Use INI File .

• Define connection parameters for the appropriate Domain schema. For details, see Testing the Database Connection Common Tasks.

Select Actions > Connect .

Do one of the following:

• Under Query, type the SQL command that you want to execute. End each command with a semicolon (;) and do not type more than one SQL Select command.

• On the menu bar, select File > Open, and then, select an external SQL file with the .sql extension.

The encoding of the source SQL file must be Unicode LE. Any other SQL file encoding is not supported.

Select Actions > Execute.
