Smart Instrumentation Version
13.1

This functionality is available from version 13.1 HF17 and higher.

After assigning users to groups, one of the key roles of the Domain Administrator is to define user access rights. Setting and managing access rights for all the users in Smart Instrumentation can require quite an effort on behalf of the Domain Administrator. To speed up this process it is possible to export the access rights of specific groups of one domain and import them into another.

This functionality is slightly different from the Copy Access Rights command. This file can be used multiple times like a template. After creating your exported access rights .accr file, you can send this file to any Domain Administrator (even those that have no direct access to your database) and they can import the file to their plant.
