Configure Smart Engineering Manager Web Application for authentication with SAM - Intergraph Smart Engineering Manager - 3.0 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

This section explains how to register Smart Engineering Manager's Smart APIs and Smart Client for authentication using Smart API Manager (SAM).

To register the Smart APIs and Smart Client, you must be a SAM Admin user with configuration permissions for the authentication server.

For SAM registration, you must run AuthenticationConfiguartion.psi in PowerShell using parameters shown in the example scripts below.

• PowerShell must be run in Administration mode.

• The groupName parameter is optional in both the scripts. If omitted, a default authorized group named "Intergraph Smart Engineering Manager: SEM: Admins" is added.
