This section includes a subset of the requirements for the Smart Engineering Manager application server installation, which includes both server and client (UI) components. Hardware Recommendations
We recommend installing the software on a computer having a 2.9 GHz processor and a minimum of 8 GB of RAM.
Recommended Disk Space

Additional disk space is required for software prerequisites and optional software
that you install.

Oracle Database Server Standard Edition is recommended for department or workgroup level applications, or for small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs). It is engineered to provide core relational database management services and options. If you select this installation type, you must purchase additional licenses if you want to install extra Enterprise Edition options.

Oracle Database Server Enterprise Edition is recommended for enterprise-level applications. It is engineered for mission-critical, high-security online transaction processing (OLTP) and data warehousing environments. If you select this installation type, all separately licensable Enterprise Edition options are installed.
