The DVD layout contains a Postinstallation folder that includes the following files used to configure the installation:

  • IISConfiguration.ps1

  • AuthenticationConfiguration.ps1

  • AuthenticationConfiguration_Okta.ps1

  • PostInstallationModule.psm1 is available in the PostInstallationModule folder.

To configure Smart Engineering Manager Web API, follow the steps as described in this section using either PowerShell or the relevant applications.

  • Ensure the admin user has read-write access to the shared folder of the SEM sites.

  • Make sure the admin user is in the System Administrators group in Smart API Manager (SAM) and has permissions to configure the authentication server. You can add the admin user to the System Administrators group before or after creating the application pool.
