Before upgrading the database, ensure you have the necessary privileges to create
sites and plants, associate applications, and backup and restore sites and plants.

Upgrade your plant data using the Upgrade Utility user interface or the Command Prompt to ensure compatibility with the Smart P&ID and Smart Electrical versions.
