Post-Upgrade Tasks - Intergraph Smart Engineering Manager - 11 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

After you complete all the upgrade tasks for a plant, make a full backup of the upgraded databases.

Some or all of the following post-upgrade tasks might also be required:

• Back Up Each Upgraded Plant

• Preserve Software Customizations

• Update Symbology Definitions in Smart Engineering Manager Options Manager

• Make Additional Changes for Smart P&ID

• Upgrade SmartFrames in Smart Engineering Manager Options Manager

The requirement to upgrade SmartFrames applies if your plant was upgraded from 2014 R1 (or earlier). The Upgrade SmartFrames command is available in Smart Engineering Manager 2019 HF16 and later and in Smart Engineering Manager 10 HF5 and later. The instructions for enabling and executing Upgrade SmartFrames command display in the Upgrade SmartFrames Command - DM-PB-253661.pdf document in the Additional Files folder of the hot fix package.
