Allows you to select the applications you want to associate with the selected plant structure. The wizard pages and the options displayed in the pages are application-specific and the order in which the software opens the wizard pages depends on the order in which you select the applications.

Applications to associate

Select the application that you want to associate with the plant structure. If a particular application has already been associated with the plant structure, the option for that application is disabled.

Smart P&ID reference data path

Type or browse to the reference data path (in UNC format) for the application options (the path is limited to 255 characters). This field is enabled only if Smart P&ID is selected in the Applications to associate options above. If Smart P&ID has already been associated with the plant structure, this field is disabled and shows the default reference data path, even if the reference data was installed to a path other than the default.

Smart Electrical reference data path

Type or browse to the reference data path (in UNC format) for the application options (the path is limited to 255 characters). This field is enabled only if Smart Electrical is selected in the Applications to associate options above. If Smart Electrical has already been associated with the plant structure, this field is disabled and shows the default reference data path, even if the reference data was installed to a path other than the default.

Specify reference data paths outside the plant structure path to avoid duplicate sets of reference data and longer process times when saving or backing up your plant and also to avoid deleting the reference data if you delete the plant. For example, if the Plant structure path is \\siteserver\sitename\plantname, do not set the reference data path to \\siteserver\sitename\plantname\refdata.

For Smart Electrical or Smart P&ID, the reference data path replaces entries originally set to node\share\... in the T_OptionSettings table.
