During the installation process, you may receive an error stating that setup does not have permission to modify one or more registry keys. This procedure explains how to grant write permissions to the registry keys.

Select Start > Run.

Type regedit.exe and select OK.

In the Registry Editor window, in the left pane, do one of the following:

For a 32-bit computer, select the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intergraph\Applications registry key.

For a 64-bit computer, select the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Intergraph\Applications registry key.

Right-click and on the shortcut menu, select Permissions.

On the Permissions for Applications dialog, select Advanced.

At the bottom of the Advanced Security Settings for Applications dialog, clear the option: Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent.

On the security dialog that appears to verify your change, select Remove.

Reselect the Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent check box.

Select the Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object check box.

Select OK and at the prompt, select OK.

Select OK.
