The following explanation refers to the examples in Configuration A and Configuration B of the Bus Load Configuration Examples documentation.
The example below illustrates a configuration in which a single load with different operation modes is connected to a bus with or without a circuit.
Load Power Parameters
A three-phase asynchronous motor loaded at 75% of its rated power connected to a bus by a feeder circuit. The following parameters have been used:

Motor rated power = 10 kW

Break power = 7.5 kW

Coincidence factors:

Y = 0.5

Z = 0.1

Efficiency and power factor at full load = 0.82
You can connect the motor to the bus via a feeder (indirect connection) or without a feeder (direct connection).

The calculation results remain the same in both cases, regardless of whether the connection is direct or indirect.
