Select Tools > Layer Groups Command.

On the Layer Groups Dialog, in the Groups box, type the name of the new group and press ENTER.

In the Layers table, in the Grouped column, select each box to include the layers in the group.

In the Grouped column, if the check box beside the layer name already has a check mark, the layer is a member of the current layer group.

You cannot give the same name to two layers on the same drawing sheet.
