This procedure explains how to compare the current version of a document with a previously published version.

  1. In the Electrical Index, expand the folder hierarchy Documents > Registered Reports.

  2. Select the required document.

  3. Select SmartPlant > Compare with Published Version to open a dialog.

  4. Select Engineering Tool to select a different tool document.

    SHARED Tip In Smart Electrical, this command opens the Find dialog.

  5. In the Revision and version options, select the SmartPlant Foundation document you want to compare.

  6. Select OK. SmartPlant Foundation opens and displays a visual comparison of the document versions, together with a list of properties that have changed.
