Microsoft provides two methods for accessing programming documentation – online and local. As seen in the previous image, you can set the help preference for viewing in your browser or in the local Help Viewer. You can always change back and forth between these options depending on the location of your documentation.
To add local content in Visual Studio, click Help > Add and Remove Help Content or Help > View Help, then select the Manage Content tab.
