To use the Smart Construction feature set in the SmartPlant Foundation Web Client, you must first install and set up a SmartPlant Foundation Web Client server as detailed in Web Client server setup for SmartPlant Foundation.

A SmartPlant Foundation license is required to log into and use Smart Construction features in the SmartPlant Foundation Web Client.

To maintain the integrity of Smart Construction data, the web configuration file for the Web Client should not be customized to enable updates to Smart Construction objects and relationships beyond what is delivered as part of the standard setup.
