Register Smart Construction OnSite with Intergraph Authorization Server - Intergraph Smart Construction - 2019 (7.0) - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon PPM

As of Update 23, Intergraph Authorization Server was retired from the SmartPlant Foundation product and is no longer available for use with new sites. Smart API Manager is now delivered with the SmartPlant Foundation product.

If your implementation uses SmartPlant Foundation's Intergraph Authorization Server, you must ensure the following conditions are satisfied in order to use OnSite:

• Your application server must be set up to use SSL.

  For details on how to set up SSL on the server, see Set up HTTPS.

• A client must be configured on the authorization server with ID FD5B5876-DD12-4533-84A2-593B784FD567. This client is included with your default SmartPlant Foundation installation (by default, it is named SmartReview).

  If this client is not configured, you must perform the step of the procedure below to add it.

• If the SmartReview client with the above ID does exist, you must add a Redirect URI with the address intergraph.smartconstruction.onsite:/oauthCallback to that client's configuration. (If you are using an older version of OnSite (4.0.2 or earlier) you will need to format this URI as intergraph.smartconstruction.onsite://oauthCallback/.)

1. In your web browser, go to the Intergraph Authorization Server website:

   http://[myserver.mydomain.com]/[mysitename]ConfigSvc/spfauthentication/

2. Log on using the authorization server administrator ID and password.

3. If an existing client with the following ID has not already been set up, you must create a new client for the authorization server; if this client already exists, you can skip this step:

   1. In the left toolbar, click Applications > Add New Client.

   2. Type FD5B5876-DD12-4533-84A2-593B784FD567 in the Client ID box.

   3. Type any value in the Client Name box.

   4. Select AuthorizationCodeWithProofKey in the Flow box.

   5. In the Secrets section, click Add new record and add the following:

      Client Secret Type: Type any name

      Value: RWgWK]3KJKlHJ-S7:-%!JpQerOIxMLD4JX

      Description: (Leave Empty)

   6. Add a Redirect URI for intergraph.smartconstruction.onsite:/oauthCallback

      If you are using an older version of OnSite (4.0.2 or earlier) you will need to format this URI as intergraph.smartconstruction.onsite://oauthCallback/.

   7. Click Create.

4. If you skipped the previous step because the SmartReview client already exists, edit the configuration information for the SmartReview client and add a new Redirect URI for intergraph.smartconstruction.onsite:/oauthCallback. (If you are using an older version of OnSite (4.0.2 or earlier) you will need to format this URI as intergraph.smartconstruction.onsite://oauthCallback/.)
