  1. Log on to the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client as an administrator.

  2. Click Smart Construction > New > Administration > Predefined Adhoc Step to open the New Predefined Adhoc Step dialog box.

  3. Type a name in the Name box.

  4. Type a description in the Description box.

  5. Select a value for a Purpose.

  6. Select a component type in the Component category list.

  7. Click Finish to save your new predefined work step.
