You can use the Get Objects by Volume option 
on the 3D model Toolbox to view and select model objects (such as components, drawings, spools, or assemblies)
within a specified volume. You can select the type of object to be included in the
volume in the Get [Objects] by Volume dialog box, and you can adjust the size and display of the volume in the Clip Volume dialog box. You can then click Get Objects to view the list of objects within the specified volume. These objects can be added
to IWPs.
