Smart Construction queries different document sources to pull documents into the Smart Construction domain. The user can select the configured document source in the Available Files dialog box to display the corresponding documents. Those documents can then be added to work packages.
By default, Smart Construction delivers SmartPlant Foundation as a document source in the Available Files dialog box. For more information, see Configure document classification and filtering in SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client. You can also configure other document sources.
We recommend enabling only one document source at any given time.
