When I add a drawing to an IWP |
ask me what to do |
When you add a drawing to an IWP, Smart Construction sends you a message asking how you would like the components in the drawing to be added to the IWP. |
only add the drawing |
When you add a drawing to an IWP, only the drawing is added. Components associated with the drawing are not added to the IWP. |
|
add all individual components |
When you add a drawing, both the drawing and the individual components in the drawing are added to your IWP. |
|
add components as spools/assemblies when possible |
When a drawing is added to an IWP that contains spools or assemblies, spools or assemblies are added to the IWP as single components (not multiple components). When you add a spool to an IWP or view a spool in a model or drawing, Smart Construction treats the spool as it was modeled in the authoring tool. For example, if supports were included as part of a spool, Smart Construction adds supports to an IWP as part of the spool and displays the supports as part of the spool. |
