The following work process describes how administrators can find and view published data to populate in the SPCRetrieveMappings.xlsm workbook.
Administrators must first publish documents from a tool to SmartPlant Foundation. Once documents are loaded into SmartPlant Foundation, administrators can view data on components and use this data to populate the SPCRetrieveMappings.xlsm workbook.

Publish documents from a tool to SmartPlant Foundation. For more information, see the specific tool documentation.

Log on to SmartPlant Foundation as an administrator.

Click Find > Published Documents > Documents.

In the Find Documents dialog box, type the criteria for the query and click OK.

In the search results, right-click the published document you want to view properties of, and click View and Markup to open the published document.

Locate the object you want to map the properties of in the View and Markup window.

Right-click the object and click Show Comprised of to open the published tool component in a new window.

Right-click the component and select Export Data. The list of properties for the component is listed on the Export Data dialog box and is available to use as reference for the retrieve mappings workbook.
