You can create a Telerik Report template using Standalone Report Designer.

If using Visual Studio, Telerik Reporting 2019 R1 or an older version for Visual Studio must be installed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2017.

The Smart Construction server uses a base driver to process your report, so the data available to you comes directly from the view definition you created. For more information, see Create supporting objects.

If you want your report to be available to all of your sites, copy the report template file to the Smart Construction installation location (for example, browse to [Drive]:\Program Files (x86)\SmartConstruction\2019\SPCServer\ReportLibraries).

  1. Create a Telerik Report template (.trdp) using the Standalone Report Designer.

  2. Save the Telerik Report template (.trdp) using the same name as the Report Template Name of the Custom Report object.

  3. Copy your report file to the ReportLibraries folder in the site bin directory (for example, browse to [Drive]:\SmartPlant Foundation [Software version] Server Files\Web_Sites\[Web Site]\Bin\ReportLibraries).
