Configure custom search criteria for drawings - Intergraph Smart Construction - 2019 (7.0) - Customization - Hexagon PPM

You can configure custom search criteria for drawings in the Drawings browser in Smart Construction based on PBS items.

When you select a PBS level in the Filter by PBS item box, the Smart Construction Custom PBS Utility tool creates new custom search criteria for drawings in the Drawings browser in Smart Construction. The custom search criteria are saved as a Custom search criteria object in SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client.

Search for the custom search criteria object in SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client

1. Log on to the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client as an administrator.

2. Click Smart Construction > Find > Administration > Custom Search Criteria.

3. Type the name of the object for which you want to search.

   You can use wildcards to narrow search results. ? and _ find any single character. * and % find any string of characters.

4. Click OK.

View the custom search criteria in the Drawings browser in Smart Construction

1. Log on to the Smart Construction.

2. Open the Drawings browser window or the Available Drawings browser.

   

   • You can click Drawings on the project home page to open the Drawings browser window.

   • You can also expand the Available Drawings browser on the Drawings window of an IWP.

3. Verify your newly configured property displays when you select the Property box.
