New User Interface

  • In this latest update, you can now utilize the modern user interface, featuring fresh icons and controls to elevate your user experience. For more information, see Check out the new Smart Completions user interface (UI)!. (3155903)

  • The header bar has been upgraded and now includes:

    • A hamburger icon for toggling the left navigation menu

    • A project selection list

    • An icon for navigating to the notification center

    • Icons for accessing dashboards and Skyline charts. A profile menu offering options such as Profile details, Settings, UI changes, and Logout.

  • The ability to change the interface theme is not available in the current release. (3554519)

  • The recently added left navigation bar enables users to move between various managers. It allows you to access administration options, software details, and user assistance features, including Help, Support, and Training resources.   • The new user interface introduces two views to help users effectively manage screen space:

    • Standard view

    • Simple view

  • In the current update, alternate navigation via breadcrumbs has been implemented to enhance user experience and simplify navigation. For more information, see How to use the breadcrumb navigation? (3145103)

  • The search functionality has been revamped for improved user-friendliness and simplicity. Search properties are now categorized for easier navigation, and users can edit search properties when modifying saved searches. Searching for items within the project hierarchy, such as work breakdown, systems, and item locations, has now been simplified by introducing tabs. For more information, see Search panel.   • The newly introduced Role Management module simplifies the process of creating new roles and managing their access permissions, making it easy for you to handle role assignments. For more information, see Manage roles and Roles and Role Profiles. (4076582, 3924600)

  • The User Management module now offers a more user-friendly experience, simplifying the process of creating new users and assigning roles to them. For more information, see Manage users. (4076582)

  • The Close form button is designed to save the changes before closing the record. (3832726)

Configurable Module Dashboards

  • Access interactive dashboards directly within different managers (Embedded Dashboards), and leverage the Dashboard Groups Manager to create custom collections of charts and data sets tailored to your specific needs (User-Defined Dashboards). Notice of Energization

  • Intergraph Smart Completions now automatically filters equipment for NOEs based on systemization/location selected in the general tab, saving time and reducing errors by eliminating duplicate data entry. For more information, see Create a Notice of Energization (NOE) (4085581)

Exports

  • Users can now export data with Created By and Created Date information for the following entities:

    • Master Assets and Tag List

    • Control Loops

    • Vendor Packs

    • Pipe Packs

    • Cable Packs

    • Assurance Certificates

Tasks and Certificates

  • Now, reopening of closed planned tasks, preservation tasks, and certificates, requires the Revoke rights which is assigned to administrators or supervisors. Users with the existing Close rights can still mark tasks and certificates as closed, but they won't be able to reopen them for further edits. Others

  • The Flange Joints feature has been enhanced with the following changes:

    • Flange Joint tags created in the Flange Joint Manager will now be accessible in the Assets Manager as well. So, you will see a significant increase in assets in Assets Manager. The Flange Joint tag ID remains unchanged in the Assets Manager. For more information, see Assets and Tags. (4045573)

    • Flange Joint tasks created in the Flange Joint Tasks Manager will now be accessible in the Planned Tasks Manager as well. So, you will see a significant increase in planned tasks in Planned Tasks Manager. The Flange Joint tasks ID remains unchanged in the Planned Tasks Manager.     • Non-compliances related to the Flange Joint tasks will now be converted into Punchlists and be moved to the Punchlists Manager. They will no longer be accessible within the Non-Compliances Manager. A new punchlist ID is assigned to the non-compliances, and the original non-compliance ID is added to the description text.   • When attempting to delete a Test Form Package, users will now be prompted with a confirmation message. This message will clearly state:

    • The Test Form Package will be permanently deleted.

    • All tasks currently assigned to this package will be unassigned.

    This improved functionality ensures users understand the consequences of deleting a Test Form Package and prevents accidental loss of task assignments. (4202659)

  • Smart forms of Assurance types are made synchronous with Near misses Smart forms. (4202659)

  • A new inspection step specifically designed for managing Flange Joint (FJ) inspections within Pipe Package Task Model is available. For more information, see Create a pipe pack task model. (4237316)
