You can view the tasks created in SaaS, and can make changes to them in the SCC application.
The Tasks Module allows the user to:

View all tasks associated with a project and their status.

View task datasheet (if performed digitally).

View and/or print task form (if performed by paper).
-
View task details (existing Punchlist items, and Assets if performed digitally).
Manage Tasks

Click Tasks to view the tasks and its properties.
Select the C/O search to view the list of checked out tasks. When the C/O is in default state, you can view all tasks irrespective of the checkout status.

When you click the PDF icon of a task, the document shown is dependent on the following conditions:

Using advanced search, select Tasks With Predecessors Pending check box to filter out the tasks which has the pending predecessors. This functionality is available in both online and offline modes. For more information on advanced search, see Using Search in SCC.

You can search for specific tasks by using the column search and Search Tasks option. For more information, see Using Search in SCC.

Using a toggle, you can now filter out the completed tasks or punchlists from the list view.

When the toggle is switched on, you can view the list of tasks which include the completed tasks as well.

You can use the toggle button from the punchlists tab too.

Click on a task name to open the task summary tab where you can view all the details associated with the task.
When you select a task which is already checked out by another user, you see a message on screen stating "Cannot be edited as it has been checkout by another user: <username>".

In the Task Summary tab, click Get Location. This will provide the latitude, longitude, and altitude coordinates of the tag object in the plant.
The accuracy of the location varies from 100-500 meters of the actual tag objection location.

Click on View DS to view the datasheet associated with the particular task. The datasheet has all the details related to the task.

Create a punchlist from task summary page.

Select Reference Documents tab to view and access all the documents associated with a task.
You can now view third party documents available in the third party document management system both online and offline.

In the Reference Documents tab, you can also view the task related asset documents, loop/pack documents and the documents associated with the child assets for that loop/pack.
To access child tags of loop/packs in mobile, you must select Yes against the Pull/Download Child Tags to Mobile? in Edit Loop Test Tracking page of SaaS.

Select the PDF icon for the document you want to view. The document opens. To close the document and return to the Task select the Back icon and then the Steps Completion tab.

You can view the task steps in the Steps Completion tab, when the tasks has started.
During task execution you might see steps that are not having the option of N/A checkbox and are made mandatory. This means that these steps were pre-configured in the SaaS application to disable N/A option for this specific step. For more information, see Configure N/A checkbox for planned tasks.

In the Punchlists tab, you can view all the task associated Punchlists.

In the Punchlists tab, you can also view the task related asset punchlists, loop/pack punchlists and the punchlists associated with the child assets for that loop/pack.
To access child tags of loop/packs in mobile, you must select Yes against the Pull/Download Child Tags to Mobile? in Edit Loop Test Tracking page of SaaS.

You can now start editing the punchlist from the Task Manager itself.
How to edit an asset, loop, or pack associated with a task?

Open a task.

In the Task Summary tab, click on the <asset tag> number to navigate to the Edit Asset page.
When you have an associated pack or loop, you will see a pack ID or loop IS in the place of asset tag ID.

In the Edit Asset page, you can update or modify the asset properties and can also delete the asset image.
How to verify documents from task module?

In the task list view, click on a task.

In the task details form, click on Assets tab.

Click on Documents tab for the related asset.

You are directed to the Documents tab of the related asset details form.
Click on icon to view the PDF.
Click on to view the document on a new tab of your web browser.
How to edit a punchlist associated with a task?

In the Tasks list view page, click on a task which is associated with punchlists.

Using a toggle, you can now filter out the completed tasks or punchlists from the list view.
When the toggle is switched on, you can view the list of tasks which include the completed tasks as well.

In the Task details form, go to Steps Completions tab.

Click on the punchlist id <PLXYZ>, from the step action table.
You can also select the punchlist id from the Punchlists tab.

You are now directed to the edit form of the Punchlist.

Edit the required information, and click Save.
How to upload and download the attachments associated with a task?
Upload and Download the attachments for a task:

In the tasks list view, select a task.

In the task details page, select Attachments. You can view all the task related files.

Select icon to attach the files to the task. The attachments uploaded from the mobile device will be reflected in SaaS also.

Choose the type of file source:
-
Select to attach a document from the mobile device local storage.
The document have to be in pdf format only.

Select to upload an image from the mobile device gallery.
-
Select to upload a picture directly from the mobile device camera.
-

Select icon to edit the properties of the attachments. Using this, you can Open, Rename, Delete, Replace and Annotate the files attached for a task.

Choose the type of action:
Open: Select to open the attachment associated with a task.
Rename: Select to rename the caption of the attachment associated with a task.
Delete: Select to delete the attachment associated with a task.
Replace: Select to replace the existing attachment associated with a task.
Annotate: Select to annotate the attachment associated with a task.

Using Annotate, you can edit the images and PDF format attachments. For more information on image annotations, see Annotate the images.

To annotate a document attached, select Annotate for the PDF file selected.

Select to enable more edit options for a document.
-
Select to view the options available to modify the attached document.

Choose the type of action:
Page: Select to insert a page into the document.
From Image: Select to insert an image into the document.
From Another Document: Select to insert a page from the other document into the current document.

When you upload an attachment, you can be able to add a caption to the file attached. Otherwise, the caption is automatically taken as default.

Uploading an attachment for a closed task is allowed only if you have the manage rights. Otherwise, the upload button and edit options are in disabled state.

In online and offline modes, you can upload or download an attachment of size up to 3 MB only.
Upload and download the Attachments for a Task in Offline mode:
You can edit attachments associated for a task in offline mode as well. Here are some prerequisites:

When a user check-out a task, and switches to offline mode; the files associated with the task by default gets downloaded to device.

Before switching to offline mode, make sure to:

Check Out the selected task. For more information on Check Out objects, see Using Sync Manager.

Sync all the data to local database using sync manager.

Select the Offline Mobile? flag for the files, under Files tab In Edit Task Completion page of SaaS, For more information, see Tasks and Inspections.

For the attachments uploaded using mobile device, the Offline Mobile? check box for the files in SaaS by default is in selected state.

When you select the check box for Offline Mobile? in SaaS, the flag gets updated in mobile device with a tick mark.
