You can view and execute the Work Packages both in online and offline modes.

Execution of Work Packages

  1. In the Work Packages page, tap on the work package id; to go to the Steps Completions tab.

  2. Tap on the Item Tag hyperlink to access the related assets of the work package. It navigates to the Assets page, where you can edit and save the assets-related data. For more information, see Assets.

  3. Tap on the Task ID hyperlink to access the smart form related to the selected task. You can Accept or Reject the actions in the smart form.

  4. In the PL/NC Alert dialog, select Yes to create a punchlist for the rejected step actions. You can view the punchlist under the PL column of the smart form.

    The punchlists created at the task level are not listed under the Punchlist tab of the Work packages module. You can view them under the Punchlist tab of the Tasks module. For more information about Punchlists in the Tasks module, see Tasks.

  5. You can also capture and enter the data for volume-centric step actions under the Steps Completion tab.

  6. Tap Calculate Progress to view the efficiency and the work progress of a work package using Man-hour (MH) or Weighted Value (WTV) as its base.

    • This functionality is only available in the online mode. Whereas in the offline mode, the progress calculation of a work package data is auto-updated during the sync to upload.

    • The Calculate Progress option is enabled for the work package, only if you choose the Create by Man-Hour Weighted Value or Create by Cost Weighted Value option in SaaS while creating a work package. For more information, see Work Package creation wizard - NEW

    • This feature is not available for the Planned Carry Over Work (PCOW), Unplanned Carry Over Work (UCOW), and Installed Work Packages (IWP). The progress of a work package here is calculated only at parent level.

  7. When you are done executing the smart form and complete the task-centric step action, the Initials/Date are captured automatically. Whereas for a volume-centric step action, the Initials/Date are captured when you manually mark it as Completed.

    SHARED Tip Select the comment _icon icon shown at the top-right corner of the Initials/Date column to add a comment for each step.

  8. You can access all the documents related to the selected work package under the Reference Documents tab. Select the PDF icon under the PDF File column to view the documents. For more information, see Documents

  9. You can access all the punchlists related to the work package under the Punchlists tab. Select the required Punchlist from the list view to access and edit. For more information, see Punchlists
