Displays properties for distributed moments. A distributed moment is a load that acts along the full or partial length of a member in only the three rotational directions of RX, RY, and RZ. The load source could be a wall resting on the member, a slab supported by the member, or perhaps wind pressure.
The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.
Approval State
Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.
Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.
You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.
Created by
Specifies the name of the person who created the object.
Date Created
Specifies the creation date of the object.
Date Last Modified
Specifies the date of the last modification to the object.
End Position
Specifies the end position of the load.
End Relative Position
Specifies the force of the load. The magnitude can be a positive or negative value, as needed, and is applied in the direction that you selected in the Direction box.
Hyperlink
Specifies the URL or local file path associated with the object. Click the hyperlink to open the page or object in your default browser. Point to the hyperlink to display the URL or path as a tooltip.
Description
Specifies the descriptive text associated with the hyperlink.
URL
Specifies the web address or local file name associated with the hyperlink. The URL must include the protocol, such as http: or https:, as well as the domain name. For example, https://hexagonppm.com/.
Infinite
Indicates whether the object has infinite length.
Last Modified by
Specifies the name of the person who last modified the object.
Length
Specifies the length of the line.
Load Direction
Specifies the direction in which the load magnitude is to be applied. You can place loads in any of the six directions: Force X, Force Y, Force Z, Moment RX, Moment RY, or Moment RZ.
Load
Specifies the direction in which the load magnitude is to be applied. You can place loads in any of the six directions: Force X, Force Y, Force Z, Moment RX, Moment RY, or Moment RZ.
Moment
Specifies the moment value associated with the object.
Name
Specifies the name of the selected object. If the name is too long to entirely display in the box, point to the box to display the complete name as a tool tip. If the name is not defined by a rule, User Defined displays. If this name is generated by a naming rule, Naming Rule displays. If you type a name in this box, Smart 3Dx automatically changes the naming rule to User Defined.
Position As
Specifies how the load location is calculated from the start of the member. The location can be defined as Relative or Absolute.
A relative location can be thought of as a distance percentage along the member. For example, a load placed at a relative distance of 0.333 is located at one-third the member length measured from the member start. A load placed at a relative distance of 0.5 is located at the middle of the member.
An absolute distance is the actual distance from the start of the member. The software verifies that the absolute distance that you specify is not past the end of the member.
Reference
Specifies the coordinate system reference for the load.
Start Position
Specifies the start position of the load.
Start Relative Position
Specifies the force of the load. The magnitude can be a positive or negative value, as needed, and is applied in the direction that you selected in the Direction box.
