Exposing a plant sets it as enabled and extracts metadata from the plant schema for use in constructing the API EDM.
Use the Configuration Utility's Enable Plants page to select which plants within the site are exposed through the API.

To expose a plant, select it and click Enable Selected Plants .

To stop exposing a plant, select it and click Disable Selected Plants .

Click Next, and continue with Configure local instances (Smart 3D web API service only).
Troubleshooting problems with the API EDM
If changes are made to a plant after it is enabled, you must return to this page to correct the API EDM, as follows:

Plant metadata is changed - Select the plant and click Regenerate Metadata .

Plant is removed from the Smart3D site - Select the plant and click Disable Selected Plants .

Plant's database is deleted - Select the plant and click Disable Selected Plants .
If a plant is removed from the Smart3D site or its database deleted, an error icon appears in the Web API Enabled column. For example:
