You only have to do this once. The configuration for both APIs is included in the
exported API configuration file. When you import the file, the configuration for both APIs is imported into the database.
-
Log on to the web server.
-
Click Start > Intergraph Smart 3D > Web API Configuration Tool.
The Configuration Utility appears.
-
On the Welcome screen, click Import. (Do not select any of the options.)
The Import dialog box appears.

If either of the following is true, check Regenerate metadata after import to regenerate the metadata for enabled plants:

If you encrypted the file when you exported it, enter the password.

Click Import.
You may see one or more prompts related to the configuration database.
-
If the database is out of date, you are prompted to migrate it. Either:

Click Migrate to upgrade the database with the utility.
-
Click Cancel and upgrade the database manually, then return here to complete the API configuration.
Migrating the database does not affect the Intergraph Smart 3D site, catalog, or model databases.
-
