We recommend you use the Configuration Utility to configure application settings. For instructions, see Configure the Plant API application settings or Configure Admin API application settings.

There is a separate configuration file for each API:

• Plant API - <Installation Path>\Smart3D\WebApi\WebServer\appsettings.json

• Admin API - <Installation Path>Smart3D\WebApi\AdminWebServer\
  appsettings.json

While we do not recommend that you make changes to the appsettings.json files, they may be helpful when troubleshooting. The following topics will help you find and understand settings in the API application settings file:
