Export the API config file - Intergraph Smart 3D Web API - Update 2 - Installation & Upgrade - Hexagon

You only have to do this once. The configuration for both APIs is stored in the configuration database. When you export the API config file, it includes the configuration for both APIs.

1. Log onto the web server.

2. Click Start > Intergraph Smart 3D > Web API Configuration Tool.

   The Configuration Utility appears.

3. Clear all of the check boxes on the Welcome page. (Do not select any of the options.)

   

4. Click Next, then click Export.

   The Export dialog box appears.

   

5. Enter the file location and name.

6. Choose whether to encrypt the file:

   • If you are not going to change the configuration and must protect the configuration information - Select Use Encryption and specify a password for the file encryption.

   • Otherwise - Clear Use Encryption.

7. Click Export to create the file.

8. Continue with the next task, Upgrade software.
