Global Workshare Configuration can be re-initiated at this time. For steps to upgrade Smart 3D configurations in a Global Workshare environment with the 14 release, see Consolidate the Global Workshare Configuration.

For Smart 3D 14, project as-built workflows pertaining to Change Management are not supported. Users may only register an S3D model to SDx Clipper to share the required data for greenfield workflows such as design reviews at various stages of the plant life cycle at 30%, 60% or 90% completion. Users can also perform correlation of shared S3D data with P&ID data using the name tag inside the SDx Clipper environment.

After upgrade of Smart 3D standard models where previously generated SIO objects are being prepared for share to HxGN SDx, it is highly recommended to process all existing SIO data using the new repair commands delivered in S3D 14. See Generate and Import Smart Interop Objects (SIOs).
There are many enhancements available for ISIP 17 translations and S3D 14 SIO generation. Therefore, it is recommended to re-translate source files using ISIP 17 and regenerate SIO data again in S3D 14 for optimal functionality. This should be done only if there was not a significant amount of post-processing done on already existing data.
